Over the summer, my family and I moved from one state to another. It was not an easy move (traveling anywhere with two school-aged kids rarely is), but as the leaves start to turn and the kids settle into a new school, things are beginning to fall into place.

Speaking of fall, a busy travel time is beginning for many of us. The adhesives and sealants industry will come together this month at the Adhesive and Sealant Council’s Fall Convention, which takes place October 19-21 at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh. Suppliers, manufacturers, end users and researchers will have the opportunity to network, visit the Expo, and sit in on lectures and a short course. Will you be there? If so, please stop by the ASI booth to say hello!

In addition, the ASSEMBLY show is scheduled to take place October 27-29 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill. While the expansive exhibition hall is enough to keep attendees and booth personnel on their feet, the event also includes a keynote speaker who will discuss sustainable improvement and lean manufacturing, three afternoon workshops, and several lectures and presentations in the Showcase Theater. If that’s not enough for you, this year’s event offers an additional workshop, almost double the number of educational presentations, extended exposition hall hours, and a larger exposition space.
