AVERY DENNISON: Adhesive Tape for EV Battery Insulation

Avery Dennison Performance Tapes has added to its EV battery Electrical Insulation Portfolio with Volt Tough™ Stretch, an adhesive tape solution for EV battery electrical insulation. The product features a proprietary, stretchable facestock optimized for battery pack assembly. Paired with an acrylic adhesive, the construction conforms to unique geometries and metal forming processes, resulting in tear-resistance against sharp edges and metal burrs.
Volt Tough Stretch also features:
- High dielectric strength (11.2kV AC breakdown strength)
- Adhesive with excellent bond strength to metal, shear strength and temperature resistance
- Opaque adhesive color for camera system detection
