EWI Announces Li Joins as Senior Engineer

Dr. Tim Li joins EWI as a senior engineer in Resistance and Solid State Welding. Dr. Li specializes in friction stir welding and materials science. His expertise includes friction stir welding, non-ferrous materials, failure analysis, and microstructural characterizations as they pertain to the aerospace, heavy manufacturing, and automotive industries. Prior to joining the company, Dr. Li was employed by Lockheed Martin Space Systems in New Orleans. At Lockheed, he served as a senior materials engineer responsible for research and development and implementation of friction stir welding for aerospace structures.
