Loctite 34082 dual-cure silicone potting compound offers instant cure to a depth of up to 22 mm when exposed to initial UV light. A secondary moisture-cure mechanism then takes over in deeper potting applications or shadowed areas to deliver complete cure. This single-component, thixotropic, transparent silicone paste is flowable and non-corrosive. It can be used in a wide variety of automotive potting applications including door-latch potting, electronic and electrical components, and a variety of applications in assemblies under the hood and within the interior cockpit.
