Ruco Polymers has introduced a new polyester designed for reactive hot melt applications.
Ruco Polymers, Hicksville, N.Y., has introduced a new polyester designed for reactive hot melt applications. Rucoflex S-1074-30 is based on 1,6-hexanediol and a long-chain aliphatic dicarboxylic acid. In reactive hot melt applications, the product offers a rapid crystallization rate, excellent adhesion to numerous substrates, excellent tensile strength, and an economical alternative to dodecanedioic acid-hexanediol polyester-based formulations.
