DOW POLYURETHANES: Polyether Polyol

This company, a business unit of the Dow Chemical Co., has launched VORANOL™ 223-060LM polyether polyol. The high-performance material is reportedly  a viable replacement in select traditional polytetramethylene ether glycol (PTMEG) applications. In addition, it offers easier processing due to its low viscosity.

The polyurethane polyol can form the backbone for a variety of adhesive, sealant and elastomer formulations. Market applications include transportation, construction, packaging and electronics.
