This company, an AkzoNobel business, recently announced the launch of Interfine® 1080 in North America. The next-generation, low-VOC acrylic polysiloxane finish coat reportedly offers high-level performance in a single-pack formulation.

The patented technology was reportedly developed to provide a better aesthetic, environmental, and cost-saving alternative to traditional two-pack polysiloxane and polyurethane topcoats. The coating contains no free isocyanates and can be brushed or rolled in a variety of on-site and maintenance applications where high-quality cosmetic finishes are required.
