Last week, we asked eNews readers if their company makes a special effort to hire veterans? Results were mixed: 57% answered no, and 43% said yes.

“Veterans are given the first opportunity at any new jobs.”

“Most of the veterans are immediately hired by the Ely State Prison, or the high-paying mine outside of town!”
