Baltimore Hosts the Pressure Sensitive Tape Council's 2015 Tape Summit

Pressure-sensitive adhesives professionals from around the world will convene May 11-15 for this key tape industry event.

From May 11-15, tape professionals from around the world will come together in Baltimore for the Pressure Sensitive Tape Council’s Tape Summit 2015. The industry-focused event will provide segmented and flexible learning options to help attendees formulate the most effective knowledge-building experience possible.

The event will begin with Tape Summit’s Tape University session on Adhesives/Advanced Technology of PSA Tape. Fundamentals of PSA Tape will take place on Tuesday, May 12.

The PSTC Spring Membership Meeting will be held May 12-13, concurrently with Tape Summit. Open to PSTC members only, the event is designed as a gathering for organization and industry information sharing, including PSTC education and marketing initiatives. Speakers will address relevant business and other cultural topics.

TECH 38 will begin with a Welcome Reception from 5-6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12. Sessions begin on Wednesday, May 13, and run through Friday, May 15. Highlights will include a keynote presentation on Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. from Brian Beaulieu, CEO of ITR Economics.

Following the keynote will be sessions discussing Raw Materials and Supply/Demand. An Exhibitor Lunch will be held at noon, then sessions will pick up again at 1 p.m. with a track on Processing. From 3:30-5:30 p.m., delegates can attend an Exhibitor Reception/Poster Session. This networking event is intended for attendees looking for the most up-to-date innovative product and service suppliers to the tape industry.

Tuesday morning’s events will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a Welcome/PSTC RTM Overview, followed by a John Johnston technical session. After a break at 10:15 a.m., the program will continue with a session on New Technology. After lunch at noon, delegates will return to a technical session on Test Methods at 1:30 p.m.

On Friday, May 15, delegates will breakfast at 8:30, followed by a technical session on Application. The meeting will adjourn at 10:10 a.m.
