BASF Closes Deal with W.R. Grace

Grace Matthews Inc. recently announced that BASF has closed the previously announced transaction to divest its global polyolefin catalysts business to W.R. Grace & Co. Grace Matthews advised BASF on this transaction.

The transaction includes technologies, patents, trademarks and the transfer of BASF's production plants in Pasadena, Texas, and Tarragona, Spain. Approximately 170 employees have also transferred to Grace.
