At its management meeting this year, Bodo Möller Chemie, a specialty chemicals distributor and solutions provider, reviewed the successes of the past years and created a strategic plan for the next 10 years. In addition to aiming to triple its turnover of €193 million by 2030, the company has prioritized sustainability, digitization, and innovative future technologies, such as artificial intelligence, 5G communication, electric vehicles, autonomous driving, and renewable energies with a low carbon footprint.

“For Bodo Möller Chemie, these are the main pillars for sustainable, future growth,” said Frank Haug, chairman of the Bodo Möller Chemie Group Executive Management. “The consistent focus on future technologies in particular is firmly anchored in our corporate strategy. That’s why we are continuously investing in building on our technical expertise and developing our centres of excellence for adhesives in Poland, China, India and the US further.”

The company plans to advance its expansion significantly over the coming years. Bodo Möller Chemie has achieved growth worldwide, gaining new branches, services, and partners. Bodo Möller Chemie acquired Portuguese Henkel Bonderite specialists Anmapi, and founded its subsidiary Bodo Möller Chemie Portugal. On purchasing the Spanish distributor General Adhesivos, the adhesive systems experts gained access to Medmix mixers and an additional adhesive laboratory to perform mechanical tests on plastics. This complements existing chemical testing for plastics in the laboratory in Poland. Moreover, Bodo Möller Chemie is now the official advanced training partner for adhesive technology for the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Technology and Advanced Materials, offering a comprehensive advanced training program to qualify as an adhesive bonder (EAB) and adhesive specialist (EAS).
