IGM Resins announced the appointment of Boudewijn Morelissen as new CEO of IGM Resins. Morelissen replaces Wilfrid Gambade, who was the CEO since 2021 and is now advisor to the Board of Directors.
“We would like to thank Wilfrid Gambade for his significant contribution over the past three years, particularly during unprecedented challenges for the global chemical industry in the light of adverse macroeconomics conditions. Under his leadership, a new strategic roadmap Go Grow Green was introduced, and a comprehensive operational improvement plan was implemented which set solid foundations for IGM Resins’ future successes”, said John Huiberts, founder of IGM Resins and current chairman of the board.
Morelissen brings many years of experience and an in-depth knowledge of the chemical industry. Together with his strategic vision and development skills, his leadership will be key to drive IGM Resins forward while keeping a strong focus on meeting the specific needs of its customers and partners around the world.
Prior to joining IGM Morelissen worked for DLG, a Danish conglomerate, where he served as CEO of Vilofoss. Morelissen is a results-driven leader with a progressive career in leading companies like Cargill, DSM, and Owens Corning.
