Elkem recently announced that Larry Zhang, who was the senior vice president of the company’s Silicones division, has accepted a new position at Sinochem, and Sandy Chen has been appointed acting senior vice president for the Silicones division. The change was announced and became effective on March 8, 2024.
Chen comes from her new position after serving as the vice president Asia Pacific region in the Elkem Silicones division. The company reports that Chen has a long and extensive experience both within leadership and the silicones global business. She holds a polymer master’s degree from Beijing Technology and Business University.
