OQ Chemicals announced that due to current market dynamics, the company will increase prices for certain products produced in Bay City, Texas, effective Aug. 1, 2024, or as contracts allow.

In North America and Mexico, n-propanol, n-butanol, and isobutanol will increase $0.05/lb. Additionally, n-propyl acetate, n-butyl acetate, and isobutyl acetate will increase $0.04/lb.

In South America and the rest of the world, n-propanol, n-butanol, and isobutanol will increase $110/mt. Additionally, n-propyl acetate, n-butyl acetate, and isobutyl acetate will increase $88/mt.
