FEICA, the Association of the European Adhesive and Sealant Industry, is launching the fourth edition of the Adhesion Innovation Award. The Award for Innovative Adhesion Science aims to raise awareness of the industry’s innovators' contribution towards a circular economy.  

Kristel Ons, FEICA’s secretary general, said, "With the Adhesion Innovation Award (AIA), FEICA supports sustainable innovations within the European adhesive and sealant industry. The alliance between FEICA and EURADH provides Europe with academic innovations in adhesive bonding with an immediate contribution to sustainability and society. For this fourth edition, FEICA has included second and third prizes to further support young researchers contributing to the sustainable goals of the adhesive and sealant industry."

The fourth edition of the FEICA/EURADH Adhesion Innovation Award focuses on sustainability, durability, and industrial applications. Applications are invited from young researchers and scientists working in adhesion science who have published outstanding work.   

The award winner will have the opportunity to present his or her work at EURADH Spanish Congress on Adhesion and Adhesives 2025, which will take place in Valencia, Spain, from October 1-3, 2025, and at the annual FEICA Conference and EXPO, which will take place in San Sebastián, Spain, from September 10-12, 2025. A prize of €3,000 and a certificate will be awarded to the first-place winner. The second-place winner will receive €1,500 and a certificate, while the third-place winner will receive €1,000 and a certificate.
