Bodo Möller Chemie Switzerland recently announced that it has achieved EN 9120 certification to meet specific requirements for the aerospace industry. EN 9120 sets the standard for maximum transparency, traceability, and regulatory compliance in the aerospace industry. With this certification, the company is now also expanding its quality management system to Switzerland especially for the aerospace industry.
The certification means the company’s supply chain of adhesives, structural adhesive films, composites, tooling and laminating resins, release agents, and surface coatings satisfy maximum quality criteria. The standard also provides improved transparency and traceability for clients.
"Certification allows us to consolidate our position in the aerospace industry and expand the Swiss location as a competence center for our clients in this sector. In this way, we also gain competitive edge on an international level thanks to standardized processes," said Frank Haug, CEO of Bodo Möller Chemie Group.
"We are very proud to now be able to supply our customers in Switzerland in accordance with the highest quality standards of EN 9120, following Germany, Italy, and India. As we already maintain long-standing partnerships with major clients in the aerospace industry, obtaining EN 9120 for the Swiss branch was the next logical step for us," said Philipp Capol, site director, Bodo Möller Chemie Switzerland. "The certification highlights the importance of Switzerland within the group’s global network."
