As a result of the new executive order #14257 (Regulating Imports with a Reciprocal Tariff to Rectify Trade Practices that Contribute to Large and Persistent Annual United States Goods Trade Deficits) imposed by the Trump Administration on April 2, 2025, OQ Chemicals announced that certain goods that the company consumes, manufactures, uses, imports, and sells are impacted by the new order due to their country of export and will be subject to additional charges.
Effective April 9, 2025, OQ Chemicals will include these charges as a separate line item on its invoices. The amount of each charge will vary depending on the product and its country of origin, in accordance with the new requirements.
