OQ Chemicals Increases Prices for Oxo Intermediates
OQ Chemicals recently announced that due to supply and demand, the company will increase prices for certain products produced in Bay City, Texas, effective May 1, 2025, or as contracts allow. The following products are impacted by the price increase.
In North America and Mexico, n-propanol will increase $0.04/lb, and n-propyl acetate and n-butyl acetate will increase $0.02/lb. In South America, n-propanol will increase $90/mt, and and n-propyl acetate and n-butyl acetate will increase $50/lb.
