Royal Adhesives and Sealants has announced plans to invest $4.3 million in manufacturing and warehouse space at its South Bend, IN, operations. The project is expected to create 28 jobs, and will require the purchase of nearly $3.2 million in equipment.
The company is seeking two tax abatements, which have been recommended by the city’s redevelopment commission and will go before the council for final approval.
Royal’s plans include an 8,300-square-foot production plant and a 22,500-square-foot warehouse. The list of equipment purchases includes mixers, raw material storage tanks, various pilot mixers and testing equipment.
