Streamlining the process of producing painted trim parts is now possible by using AT-3-2 solid-core acrylic attachment tape, a heat-resistant tape that serves as both a mask as well as an attachment tape. The tape can be applied to substrate materials with current tape-application methods and is re-paintable as many times as allowed by the OEMs. In addition to costs savings realized by streamlining the painting process, product performance is improved with increased adhesion after exposure to cure-cycle temperatures, and product quality is improved with reduced handling.
