Schenectady International Inc. has announced it is on schedule for the construction of a new phenolic resin manufacturing facility in Shanghai, China. Production of Zinc Salicylate for the Carbonless Copy Paper industry will commence in early 2004, and production of phenolic resins for the rubber and adhesive industries is expected in the second half of 2004. The company is the global leader in the supply of phenolic resins to the rubber and adhesive industries.
