Ricon Resins, Inc., Grand Junction, Colo., has filed for patent protection on its UV/EB-curable RICACRYL® 3803 and its RICACRYL® 3820 resins. The assignment of the official file date removes the final barrier to commercialization of the 3803. The company developed these resins specifically to adhere to all common types of steel, including tin-plated and galvanized, as well as the more difficult plastic, glass and metal substrates.
