This company has introduced a second autosampler option for its LA-Series of particle-size analyzers. The SlurrySampler allows the user to supply wet slurry samples directly from the process line to the autosampler without need for dilution, sub-sampling or other sample handling. The unit uses a robotic arm with a mixer to agitate the sample dispersion, remove a set volume of dispersion and supply the sample to the analyzer.
