This company introduces PERMABOND® 671, a rapid room-temperature-curing structural adhesive for bonding permanent magnets in brush-type DC electric motors. The product combines a fast cure at room temperature (30 to 60 seconds) and gap-filling ability (up to 0.2 in). The adhesive offers production advantages when compared to traditional mechanical slips and can also be used to dramatically increase production rates when used in place of heat-cured epoxies or slow-curing, two-part epoxies.
