The MP-Micro™ fluid-bed processor is a laboratory-scale unit that can afford substantial savings in research and development efforts on expensive materials. The unit can process very small quantities of materials (as little as 20 grams) and has the flexibility of a full-size production fluid-bed processor, allowing development of formulations at minimum materials cost. It is capable of dry mixing and liquid spray addition, particle size enhancement by spray granulation/agglomeration, spray coating, and fluid-bed drying. Features include secure product handling and containment, variable process control of airflow temperature and liquid addition, interchangeable product containers, filter blow-back system, and easy strip down for cleaning.
