EMS-GRILTECH, Sumter, S.C., is a newly formed business unit within the EMS Group. As of January 1, 2001, the division of Technical Fibers & Adhesives of EMS-CHEMIE was recognized as EMS-GRILTECH. The change from a divisional entity into a stand-alone business unit will allow EMS-GRILTECH to become more focused upon market and customer needs, and to improve competitiveness and responsiveness in the market place.
