ViTechnology has entered into an OEM agreement with Cognex.
ViTechnology, Haverhill, Mass., manufacturer of automated optical inspection equipment (AOI), has entered into an OEM agreement with Cognex Corp., a leading supplier of machine vision systems. The agreement has resulted in the development of a highly advanced software package for AOI equipment. Under the agreement, ViTechnology will employ the Cognex MVS-8000 vision-processing hardware and the company’s software technology for locating and inspecting objects despite changes in angle, size or appearance.
