Waterlink/Barnebey Sutcliffe, Columbus, Ohio, has expanded its line of PetroPur specialty carbons for petrochemical applications to include AminePur, a coal-based carbon for purifying amine and glycol scrubbing solutions. The product restores the quality of the amine scrubbing solution while on-line — without service interruptions — by adsorbing dissolved organics from the amine stream. This process eliminates the risk of mechanical problems in filtration equipment, and ensures maximum productivity and high-product quality.
