PERMABOND® 4L35 photocurable adhesive cures within a fraction of a second on-demand when used to bond various plastics in the manufacture of medical devices. The adhesive can be cured with a variety of lamp systems. Depending on the lamp intensity and wavelength, curing time can be less than a second. The product is recommended for bonding polycarbonate, polystyrene, acrylic and other plastics commonly used in medical-device manufacture. With a superior wetting capability, it provides excellent adhesion to difficult-to-bond plastics, such as highly plasticized PVC.
