This company’s new Hightemp 221FG is a single-component, room-temperature-stable, smooth epoxy potting compound that can withstand continued high-temperature use. The product maintains thermal-shock resistance from –60ºC to 170ºC, even after thousands of hours of heat aging at temperatures as high as 220ºC. The material achieves full cure in less than four hours at 150ºC. Castings made with the product are tough at room temperature, sub-zero temperatures and at elevated temperatures.
