The SunRod cartridge heater’s simple design eliminates internal cores, spacers and connections for longer life. A continuous internal coil provides uniform sheath temperatures without the cold spots caused by individual heated sections. Miniature units are also available in 1/8-in- and 3/16-in-diameter sizes to allow maximum use of available space in tight applications. Standard sizes from 1/4 in to 1/2 in are also available. Additional features include an option hot tip and leads that can be bent sharply without exposing the conductors.
