Stepan Co., Northfield, Ill., has introduced two new polyester polyols that can be formulated into a variety of polyurethane adhesives. STEPANPOL® PD-56 is a new, 2,000-molecular-weight diol that has been developed for reactive hot melt adhesives. STEPANPOL® PD-56 LV is a new, low-viscosity, 2,000-molecular-weight diol that is useful in formulating a variety of liquid urethane adhesives formulations.
