Model LS-1000 large-area solar simulator employs a high-efficiency, 1,000-watt Xenon lamp and a high-efficiency, 1,000-watt, regulated switching power supply with adjustable current for controlling the intensity. The simulator closely reproduces the solar spectrum from 250 to 2,400 nm. It provides large round- or square-illumination areas.
