Robert J. Broomham has been named to the role of global business director for the Vinyl Acetate Monomer (VAM) business at The Dow Chemical Company. Broomham previously served as director of Distribution Sales for Dow Chemicals & Intermediates and Performance Chemicals & Thermosets (PC&T). He has worked at Dow for more than 20 years, holding a variety of leadership roles. "Rob brings strong knowledge of our customer base and the coatings industry to his role," says Pam Butcher, business vice president, Specialty Chemicals. "His years of experience, understanding of Dow products and integration, and leadership abilities make him an excellent choice for this position." Broomham replaces Michael Marinaccio, who retired at the end of June.
