Porous Materials Inc. (PMI) has announced its fifth annual porosity characterization short course to be held in Ithaca, NY, Oct. 5-7, 2004. The course includes basics as well as advanced topics, and is designed to benefit both managers and scientists. The course covers the basics of various techniques available and their proper role in understanding the material structure. It includes lectures from experts on recent advances, error analysis, interpretation of results and selection of appropriate techniques, as well as live demonstrations and visits to PMI laboratories for hands-on experience. Discussion of individual or group problems may be arranged with advance notification.
