Evan W. Nord, who founded Nordson Corp. with his brother and father in 1954, passed away on June 21. Nord retired as a vice president of the company in 1978 and as a director in 2002. Nordson Corp., now in its 50th year of operation, is a leading producer of precision dispensing equipment used to apply adhesives, sealants and coatings to a broad range of consumer and industrial products during manufacturing operations, helping customers meet quality, productivity and environmental targets.
