Harvin Reaction Technology now offers two-component polyurethane elastomer systems for spray, open casting and low-pressure RIM applications. "Typical end uses of these systems are for production of molds and tools used in the manufacture of decorative concrete items, rollers, wheels, bumpers, and automotive accessories," says Dick Baum, vice president of Operations and general manager of Harvin. The new elastomer systems represent part of a steady rollout of new customer products, Baum says, adding that the Harvin plant recently expanded its bulk storage tank and reactor capabilities.
