AFFINITY GA 1900 & 1950 are part of a new line of highly versatile polyolefin polymers (POPs) for hot-melt adhesive (HMA) applications. Developed using Dow's proprietary INSITE Technology and Solution Process, these products are characterized by a novel chemistry that combines high flow and low crystallinity. This combination is designed to deliver a new level of performance, processing and value to HMA formulators when compared to EVA-based hot-melt adhesives. Product highlights include: reduced filter plugging; less machine wear and tear; improved color and clarity; negligible odor; and decreased system downtime. AFFINITY POPs are currently used in a number of food packaging, hygiene and medical, and elastic film applications.
