Henline Adhesive Equipment Co. Inc. (HAECO) has announced the design and manufacture of a customized system for Clopay Building Products. The system, a HAECO Auto-Glaze Table, was customized to accept commercial garage door panels up to 18 feet long and from 12 to 30 feet in height. In addition to customizing the table to accept large panels, the system was equipped with adjustable fences to clamp the aluminum panel in place before the sealant was dispersed. The system enabled Clopay to eliminate two steps in their production process: spraying the panels with water and trimming excess adhesive tape. As a result, Clopay has been able to increase the output of their operation and provide a higher-quality end product.
