BASF has appointed Christopher Lubbers as a senior technical service representative for its Functional Polymers business in North America located in Charlotte, NC. In this new position, Lubbers provides technical support for asphalt customers who utilize latex in hot-mix and asphalt-emulsion applications, including seal coat, slurry seal, tack coat, and microsurfacing. Prior to joining BASF, Lubbers worked for five years at Goodyear Chemical in Akron, OH, and GAF Materials Corp. in Wayne, NJ. He holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Ohio University, Athens, OH, and a master's degree from the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, IN.
