Venture Tape Corp., a worldwide manufacturer of specialty adhesives, has named Robert Bruckmann as its new chief financial officer. As CFO of the 25-year-old company, Bruckmann will oversee accounting, financial reporting and analysis of IT functions. In addition, he will also perform financial analysis for acquisitions. Bruckmann is a veteran of manufacturing and service industries, having previously worked as a group controller for Ionics, Inc. of Watertown, MA, and as vice president and CFO of American Engineered Components, Inc. of Brighton, MA. He has also worked for Illinois Tool Works, Inc. and Sylvania Lighting, U.S. (now Osram Sylvania).
