Sika Corp. has introduced its new Sikaflex-2c Booster, an accelerating additive for Sikaflex 2c NS EZ Mix, which is a two-component, long pot life, polyurethane sealant used to seal construction joints. This booster is formulated to speed up cure rate and tack-free time when mixed with Sikaflex-2c NS EZ Mix in cold temperatures. This gives Sikaflex-2c NS EZ Mix the ability to be used in a variety of tough application temperatures, even below freezing, without being affected by the cold weather. Sikaflex-2x Booster is available in small applicators and is easily added to Sikaflex-2c NS EZ Mix before the product is mixed and applied.
