The Adhesives & Sealants Marketing Unit of Bayer Polymers LLC has introduced Dispercoll S silica gels, a series of silica gel dispersions that are expected to outperform alternatives in a range of applications. Extensive lab testing has shown that, in conjunction with Dispercoll C polychloroprene lattices, the silica gels have been able to improve wet bond strength and lengthen open time, as well as improve viscosity and heat stability.
