Henkel Loctite Corp. has introduced new Speedbonder H8000, a non-sagging structural acrylic adhesive that fixtures rapidly and delivers impact and peel-resistant high-strength bonds on a variety of surfaces including metals and composites. It is a 100-percent reactive, two-component gel that cures rapidly at room temperature and bonds securely to steel, aluminum, stainless steel, FRP, Xenoy, RTM, Gelcoat and ABS with little or no surface preparation. Capable of filling gaps as large as 0.5 inches, this adhesive offers high elongation and excellent cold temperature impact strength. It forms resilient bonds and maintains its strength over a wide range of temperatures. The product also offers strong environmental resistance.
