W.R. Grace & Co. has announced its acquisition of the TRI-FLEX 30 product line from Flexia Corp., headquartered in Canada. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. TRI-FLEX 30 is a high-strength, reinforced roofing underlayment used in sloped roofing applications. It is a protective membrane that is applied to the roof deck before shingles, shakes, slate, tile, metal and composite roofing, providing application benefits and enhanced protection from the elements. This acquisition expands Grace's roofing products portfolio and will be integrated into the specialty building materials business of Grace Performance Chemicals.
