Adhesive Systems Technology Corp. (AST) has moved to its new headquarters located at 9000 Science Center Dr., New Hope, MN 55428. With over 70,000 square feet, the larger facility includes manufacturing, demonstration areas and labs for research and development of the company’s meter/mix/dispense equipment.

Arizona Chemical, Jacksonville, Fla., has appointed D.B. Becker, Clinton, N.J., the exclusive distributor of the company’s adhesive product offerings in the Northeastern United States. Products include the company’s rosin esters, alpha methyl styrene resins, styrenated terpene resins, terpene phenolic resins, polyterpene resins, polymerized rosins and hot melt polyamide resins.

Hauthaway Corp., Lynn, Mass., has appointed Walsh & Associates Inc., St. Louis, sales representative for the Hauthane line of waterborne polyurethane dispersions to the architectural and industrial coatings and adhesives markets in portions of the Midwest, South and Rocky Mountain Region.

The International Group, Inc. (IGI), Chicago, has announced distribution agreements with Rishichem and Dovechemcentral to service the growing India and Asian Pacific markets. Rishichem is a joint venture between CHEMCENTRAL Corp. and Rishiroop Group. IGI Waxes products will be distributed throughout India and neighboring countries. Dovechemcentral is a joint venture between CHEMCENTRAL Corp. and Dovechem Holdings. IGI Waxes products will be available in all Dovechemcentral market areas, including Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, China, Vietnam and the Philippines.

Minerals Technologies Inc., New York, announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Barretts Minerals Inc. (BMI), has acquired the business and assets of Polar Minerals Inc. Polar Minerals has mineral-processing plants in Wellsville, Ohio, and Mount Vernon, Ind. Products include talc, ground calcium carbonate, barites and mica.

TAH Industries, Robbinsville, N.J., has introduced its redesigned Web site, which offers expanded information on the company’s entire line of mixers, cartridges and dispense valves for the adhesives and sealants industry. New features include enhanced site navigation, literature and product-sample requisition, search capabilities, and detailed white papers.
