Shimadzu Scientific Instruments has introduced the new SolidSpec-3700 Series UV-Vis-NIR Spectrophotometer. Two models are available: the SolidSpec-3700 for standard applications and the 3700DUV for deep UV measurement to 165 nm. Both models are equipped with three detectors, including a photomultiplier tube for the UV-Vis region, and InGaAs and PbS detectors for the NIR region. The three detectors ensure high sensitivity during transmittance and reflectance, even in the switchover range, and significantly reduce noise to enable precise measurement of low reflection samples. Measurement range varies from 165 nm to 33 nm depending on application and the use of an integrating sphere and the optional Direct Detection Unit.
