National Adhesives has introduced NACOR 38-503A, a family of waterborne acrylic/polyurethane pressure sensitive adhesives designed to provide superior water and humidity resistance. Delivering a good balance of adhesive properties for a variety of applications, NACOR 38-503A adhesives are ideal for use on clear film over-laminating industrial tapes, decals, and in prime label and graphic arts applications. These optically clear adhesives are non-yellowing on prolonged exposure to ultraviolet light and have good coatability, mechanical stability, and heat-resistance characteristics. NACOR 38-503A products perform well in a range of environmental conditions and provide good adhesion to low surface energy substrates, such as those used in moist food packaging. The dry film components of NACOR 38-503A products comply with FDA regulations for indirect food contact.
