National Starch and Chemical offers DUR-O-SET® E-220 adhesive copolymer.

Bridgewater, N.J., offers DUR-O-SET® E-220 adhesive copolymer, a 60%-solids emulsion that provides a balance of adhesion and flexibility. These qualities facilitate the compounding of adhesive products for flexible packaging, laminating and other industrial applications. The material is a polyvinyl-alcohol-stabilized adhesive-base emulsion. Its initial viscosity ranges between 600 and 1,500 centipoise and can be increased by as much as 3.5 times with the addition of plasticizers or solvents.
