The conference provides opportunities for materials-characterization scientists and technicians involved with thermal analysis (TA) to discuss problem-solving techniques, exchange ideas on methods and research, and keep abreast of advances in the material sciences. Over 170 invited and submitted papers will be presented in general sessions, symposia and a poster session. An instrument exhibition with the leading manufacturers will complement the technical program.
New this year is a rheology symposium and a two-day rheology short course. There will also be a tutorial session that will present the fundamental principles and applications of TA. The thermal analysis short course will run concurrently with the rheology short course, September 18-19. Each course will cover basic and advanced topics.
